I ordered the Italian combo sandwich. It was about a 10 inch with all the fixings. Plenty of meat, plenty of flavor and was only 11 bucks. I waited about five minutes for the sandwich to be made and was worth it because of the quality and meats and flavors. The bread was a little tough, but fresh. Every bite left you wanting a little bit more. The sweet peppers and sauce jived really well With the whole sandwich and I was not disappointed. I typically like to go with a spicy option when it comes to Italian sandwiches, but the sweet peppers Did the trick. It was wrapped up tight and not a crumb was left after sitting outside the restaurant. The place looks a little rough on the outside (and In) But you know places like this typically don’t disappoint. I’ll definitely come back here because these guys don’t mess around when it comes to a good sandwich.“

I had the Italian combo wedge, which, for those of you that do not realize, a wedge is the same as what many would call a grinder or, a submarine sandwich.
The folks here were nice and my sandwich was good. It was stuffed with good stuff in between the role that was good and fresh.
I asked them to make sure they did not drown it in oil and vinegar and they did a great job…
The Italian combo consist of salami, pepperoni, bologna, ham, sweet peppers, lettuce, tomato, provolone, oil and vinegar.
Next time I may opt to get the American combo, which is more of a ham, turkey, and roast beast type sandwich…
There are a couple small tables, so if somebody wanted to sit down and eat, that is an option.
There appears to be plenty of snacks, drinks, and coffee available here as well.
Parking could be a little tricky here from the way things look right now.
I was able to turn around and park across the street so my vehicle was facing towards the main road, making my departure a breeze.

“I ate here today with my husband. This was a random choice on the way to somewhere else. The bathroom was VERY VERY clean and just coming off of the road, I truly appreciated this. There are sturdy and comfortable tables and chairs and the door was open to a nice breeze with fans. Everybody was friendly. The food was good! Even though the avocados were not ripe enough to serve, I truly enjoyed my breakfast burrito without them. The burrito was really satisfying and made with care. My husband enjoyed his ham and cheese. Also, the prices were great. I saw on Google that the name of the place, Quisqueya, means “cradle of life" -- I felt the deep vibe of this open hearted place as soon as I walked in. I hope I can happen by again. PS: The thing with avocados not being ripe enough to serve has happened many other places this year -- it's just a thing that is happening these days....“

Every Friday after my lunch shift at South End (no longer there). I'd grab myself one of their amazing sandwiches. Spicy chicken cutlet was one of my favorites. Thr Philly cheese steak was soo good too.

I'd even pick up a sandwich for my mother and we'd eat lunch together.

I'd also grab a quick mid shift sandwich on my Sunday doubles at south end. My coworkers and I would put in a few sandwich orders on Sunday and bring them back too south end between brunch and dinner.

I can't remember his name. But either the manager or owner was always behind the counter ready too greet me with a huge smile. He knew my name. He knew what days I'd come in. They were always so nice too me and I never had a disappointment in food. I miss this place dearly. ( I have moved out of CT )“
