Lots to try here, breakfast, dinner and pizza. Tried breakfast here, everything was standard breakfast, nothing really stood out. Did I have everything on the menu, no. One bad thing, not a fan of the French toast at all, no flavor and when cut into, it was white bread through and through, nothing soaked in. It was funky and bad. Dinners here during the week are really cool. Keep in mind it's just a deli and not lots of seating. I had the prime rib with garlic mashed and veg. All were really good at a reasonable price and meals are available to go. I had pizza here twice now cuz I was impressed the first time. Thin crust with pepperoni, was really good . Went back for just a cheese, and I'm seeing some things and would caution the bussiness. There is a difference in thin crust as a style of pizza versus making the biggest profit using the least ingredients . Cheese was sparse as well as sauce. Workers are really nice here, kind of a cheers vibe here , everybody knows your name

Over the Christmas holidays I ordered pizza and schiacciata, plus I have eaten the fresh chicken cutlet grinder and more. The famous mashed tater grilled cheese is to die for. The hometown atmosphere is what this place strives for.

The food and service is fantastic. It is my go to place for pizza and breakfast sandwiches. The inside is beautiful and clean with plenty of spots to take a load off while you enjoy coffee, or sit as a family and enjoy a meal. If you have not been you are doing yourself a disservice you will it be disappointed if you go.

Typically get a sandwich here every now and again, those are always great. Not here to talk about sandwiches, though.Ordered a large buffalo chicken pizza with onions added. Came out to $19.50. Super reasonable price. It’s easily the best buff-chix I’ve had in years.The chicken is grilled and shredded, and they’re generous with the amount. The buffalo sauce is exactly the kind that should be on a pizza. It’s thin crust, perfectly cooked. Each bite has a nice mix of all the toppings.I’m not a fan of super greasy pizza. Ya know, where the grease soaks through the box before the end of the ride home. Typically, with buffalo chicken that’s a huge problem these days. Not with this pizza. It’s exceptional. I didn’t feel like crap after eating it. All in all pizza here is 10/10. If you can do a buffalo chicken right, the rest is cake. Good job guys. I will be back.

Breakfast sandwiches are great, not greasy, delicious, and fresh. But their lunch/dinner is phenomenal. We are hooked, we love their daily specials. Everything is seasoned well and always tastes fresh, never had a bad experience. Very friendly and very reasonable prices

It's a damn shame this place doesn't have a separate pizza place that operates at night because in my opinion this place and Mondo have the best pizza in Middletown/Middlefield/Meriden area. Haven't had a bad sandwich yet either. Call ahead for lunch though, otherwise you'll be facing a pretty decent crowd, can get quite busy.
