This was my 1st time at this establishment and I was really hopeful given I am GF and there aren’t many bakeries that offer a wide range of GF items. I ordered a salad and some GF desserts online, went to pick up my order, and felt I was treated fairly rude by whomever worked up front, didn’t get her name. Walked in, and saw my order was ready for pickup on the side with my name, but I didn’t want to grab it and go without letting someone know. I greeted the employee and said, “I made an online order, and believe this is mine” her response was distasteful in my opinion replying, “I mean I don’t know you, or your name, so I couldn’t tell you. But if it’s yours grab it”. A simple, “oh what’s your name, perfect, all set have a great day” would’ve sufficed. I felt I had to explain that I didn’t just want to grab it, without letting her know. For that reason, I have the establishment a 3 star rating, given service wasn’t the best first impression, but the overall food was delicious. The salad was filling and the cookies were also very good.

Did not feel like cooking one night. So I got the baked eggplant parmesan and the pulled barbecue pork for my husband and myself. It was so tasty and delicious. Can't wait to try our next meals when I don't feel like cooking lol. The staff is great!

This place is Legit, with a capitial "L". ? The owners are the same ones that own the *amazing* "The Charles" restaurant in Old Wethersfield. ? That restaurant is as Legit as this place! Be sure to check it out! Anyways, as for this place, everything looks, and is, crazy delicious!!!! ??? Thanks to everyone for all of their hard, hard work, at BOTH locations! What a great place!! Options include coffee (with various special flavors - I got vanilla lavendar latte - delish!) and desserts, including a wide range of gluten free options ! Lots of soups, salads, breads and fixins for a lunch or dinner picnic. Love it!
Ordered chocolate chip cookie, bourbon vanilla red velvet cupcake, and banana scone. The cookie was a bit too chocolatey and harder than I expected. The cupcake was dry but frosting was really good. The scone didn't even register any banana flavor. Honestly my first visit was a bit underwhelming. Service was decent, but they were too slow to restock the pastries especially with too many idle hands. With Doro Marketplace nearby, I will probably go there next.Disclaimer: They didn't have the chocolate chip croissant, so I would like to try that since I have heard good things, but not interested in anything else.

Whenever I am in the Rocky Hill/Wethersfield area, I must stop at Bake Market to bring something home. Everything I have tried from sauces, dinners, soups, etc to their wonderful desserts has been delicious. I stopped to get more sauce and pasta and enjoyed a fantastic gluten free peanut butter cookie and a great cup of coffee to go! I am so glad they offer gf options! I look forward to going each visit!I have been coming to this location for a long while so when Bake Market opened here I was thrilled. They definitely deserve 5-star!

Dietary restrictions: Not sure if they have low sodium or heart healthy items on the menu... for now these items go unidentified. Hoping they correct that in the future.

We’ve been long fans of the Charles so knew Bake Market would be fabulous. I stopped by to pick up some Valentine’s Day treats for the husband and his sweet tooth and purchased a chocolate chip cookie, red velvet cupcake, and blondie. They were a huge hit and so delicious. I also picked up eggplant Parmesan and some focaccia for a quick Valentine’s dinner. Absolutely delicious, especially for the price and convenience. Will definitely pick up more meals in the future, especially if there are vegetarian or pescatarian options.
