Only go here if you want to find out how to botch miserably a simple breakfast. We were recommended to this place, but it was just awful. Eggs were insipid and cold. Sausage was like the frozen links from the freezer (best part of the meal). Corned beef hash was inedible. Like dog food. Could not eat more than a bite. Bread was like styrofoam. Potatoes seemed like canned sliced potatoes drenched in oil, cold and glutinous. Food was awful. Service lousy. And they started sweeping with the janitor closet open kicking up the dust so we could breathe that i along with the aroma of cleaner. Ignored us when we asked them to stop. Avoid this joint like the plague. PS. One star is Minimum Rating allowed.

Do not attempt to do an UBER eats order with this establishment. I've done it twice and twice they have sent an incomplete order with the delivery driver to my home. Attention to detail is not a strong suit their.

Food is amazing, they give you plenty and for a reasonable price. I primarily go to Mitchell's for the fantastic staff, and the food is a bonus. Holly, Lisa, Tina, the owner Roy, all very nice people who make you feel right at home. The restaurant is cozy and gives a nice small town diner feel. Would recommend to anyone.

Mitchel's seems very much to be an old, reliable standby, one of those places that you know you can get a good meal, at a fair price, when you're not in the mood for anything fancy or complicated. That's the impression I get each time I visit; and, it was no different this time around. The atmosphere is casual and comfortable; and, the staff is friendly and attentive. On my most recent visit, I chose the "new special", consisting of two eggs cooked to your preference, (I chose over easy), two strips of crisp bacon, two breakfast sausage links, your choice of french toast or pancakes (I chose french toast) and mildly seasoned potatoes. At $14.00 and change, that's a lot of food at a decent price, for my dollar; and, "decent" just about sums up the whole meal. It's all good; but, nothing really stands out. What you get is a good solid meal, but not much more. And that's not a bad thing. A clarification is in order, however. Upon seating myself, I was quickly offered coffee, placing my order at that point. I had my meal, served hot, in less than ten minutes, which I did find impressive.

Pretty expensive breakfast, especially considering that the employees acted like their customers were inconveniencing them by simply being there. We didn't mean to interrupt their very important social conversations, we just wanted to eat. Sorry!

Stopped by for breakfast. Restaurant was self seating consisting of booths and a large counter. The dining area did not have a foyer by the door so whenever someone opened the door, a burst of frigid air came in causing some to be chilled. Service was friendly and prompt. I had the usual "big breakfast". Eggs were cooked as I like them and the pancakes were standard fare. Nothing special. The bacon was cooked well and very good. The breakfast sausage were similar to the "brown and serve" found at our local grocery. Not very good. I judge many breakfast spots based on their home fries. Good fries are fresh cut with chopped onion, garlic, and spices all cooked to a crispy consistency. The home fries at Mitchells appeared to be from canned and then sliced potatoes with onion powder, garlic powder, salt/pepper and then lightly fried. Not impressive. Mitchells is a decent breakfast spot but a few basics can be improved.

Small restaurant with limited seating but if you do manage to be lucky enough to fight the crowd and get a seat, the breakfast is great just like there Vernon location. Fast service, good environment. The only thing bad is not enough tables and parking might be an issue.
