I never have a bad meal at Rudy's. The service was attentive and pleasant. Casual dining with delicious food.

Great food, old school recipes and lots of attention to detail. Dined here for the 3rd time and it was fantastic. The bread rolls are made to order and the food was spectacular. Prices were very reasonable as our meals included salad and a side of pasta. What a gem, glad I tried this little hole in the wall. Well worth my time. The only item that was not that great was the arancini appetizer, other than that... all entrees and apps for the 3 times my family and I came here were absolutely wonderful.

Delicious Italian American food! Everything we ordered was wonderful-- all the pasta dishes were great. The vodka sauce is so good! We also tried the braised short rib, chicken and eggplant parmigiana and a steak entree, all delicious! The dinner rolls are baked fresh in house and the dipping sauce that comes with them is addictive .. We always order aperol spritz's if drinking and usually they are just so-so but they were perfect at Rudy's! We can't wait to go back. Everyone was so warm and inviting-- great service to match the great meal!

The food was not great and the service is slow. But the atmosphere was pleasant and the bathrooms weren't bad.

Had an excellent dinner, had a lasagna that was excellent and well portioned, and rolls that were home made , warm and soft. Substituted the salad for soup, was delicious. Had a group of 7 and all raved about the food and the reasonable prices. The owner was on the premise, very nice and welcoming! Would definitely recommend if you love Italian food and wonderful service.Parking: Plenty of parking around back

First time ordering from here. I got chicken marsala which was extremely mediocre for the price of over $20. Very little sauce, and what was there was flavorless and watery. Huge unevenly cut chunks of mushrooms. Some well cooked, others still quite firm. The chicken meat was overcooked but the egg wash breading was not cooked enough and I could still taste raw flour. Really an offputting meal overall.

We love Rudys! We frequent there often. They have the best vodka sauce! Pasta is never mushy. Fresh hot rolls with a sundried tomato/oil dipping sauce is delicious. Good prices and portions. Staff is pleasant . Gena is awesome. She works hard and knows exactly what we want, best waitress!

Reply to owner’s response: Rudy - I have eaten at your restaurant many times and this was my only “bad” meal; however, you totally “fibbed” and exaggerated in your response to my review, as I certainly did not “yell”, but spoke in a normal voice and only after you finished your tirade! If you recall correctly, you came to our table and slammed the bill down while making your proclamation that “this was my last meal and I was no longer welcome,” before I even said a word! The meal WAS disgusting and packing it to go was ridiculous! The supposed egg noodles were so mushed together into a glob, that I could not differentiate between that and Angel hair! I stand by my review and, by the way, the abbreviation for imitation is “imit”, not “lm”!!! Original review: Rudy’s should be called RUDE’s, as the owner “Rudy” is the rudest proprietor I have ever encountered! His female waitstaff is friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient, and overall I would rate them as great. My two companions and I shared a delicious starter of baked, stuffed clams, (1 each) and their consistently fabulous, right out of the oven, herbal rolls with accompanying spread. Only 3 choices for salad dressing though: Italian, balsamic, or blue cheese, and the Italian dressing was overladen with vinegar, with nary a trace of olive oil. My cousin ordered the pork chop special and my mom chose the red snapper, both good. Unfortunately, I selected their most popular fish dish, called Seafood Castle, which was really terrible. Primarily billed as a combination of shrimp, crab, and lobster, with a tiny “lm” in front of the listing, I had no idea that stood for “imitation”. Fake is more like it as the dish, which I eventually learned is made in advance and pre-portioned, was a disgusting mess of “globby” pasta, topped with 1 lone shrimp and the rest, a slimy, mushy, plate of imitation crab and lobster which was impossible to determine which was which! I sent my plate back and the apologetic waitress, who packed it to go and brought it back to our table upon the instructions of the owner, quoting him “that I still had to pay for the meal and could NOT order anything else!” Why would I take home something I refused to eat there?!? I asked to speak to him myself. Rudy rudely marched up to us, slammed a check onto the table and gruffly announced “This is your last meal here - don’t ever come back!” I tried to explain my stance, but he wouldn’t even let me speak. I shrugged the incident off and went to the restroom, which I couldn’t use because it is not handicap accessible, with an extremely low commode and no grab-bars. I was only charged for the side salad, but still tipped our waitress as though I paid for the whole meal; she expressed her gratitude and once again apologized for both the owner’s behavior and rules, while explaining that I had ordered their most popular meal! Sad!" P.S. several others had posted similar reviews as well, so I'm obviously not the only one!!!!!!
