Saybrook Fish House offers great food with excellent customer service. The seafood is delicious, and the homemade salad dressing is a highlight. The bread at the start is fresh with crispy crusts and plenty of butter. All the food was hot or cold as it was supposed to be, well spiced, and fresh. The salad was outstanding, and the fruit was ripe and sweet, often served as a delightful surprise at the end of the meal. Despite a delay in the main course, the staff went above and beyond by offering a complimentary dessert and wine. While the steak was just okay, the overall experience remained pleasant with warm and friendly staff. The restaurant provides a cozy, if a bit noisy, atmosphere. Some dishes, like stuffed mushrooms, are fantastic but can be overpowered by too much white pepper, which may affect the flavor. The service staff generally delivers marvelous service, making each visit a consistent and enjoyable night at Saybrook Fish House.
