$20 for the steak burrito is completely unreasonable. Flavor were there but the steak was over cooked which at $20 can't happen. staff seemed friendly no chips no salsa or even salsa to go which is a very interesting choice. Their happy hour deals seem like their selling point but my take out left me feeling meh. 3/5 won't go again

Food was ok .....burrito big and filling, worth the money , steak was decent.....however guacamole tasted bland and not fresh black bean s watery rice clumpy. Server was really nice ..but service was extremely slow 50 min to get burrito and fajitas!....only us in dining room at 3:30 Sunday...1 person in bar ....at about 4:30 bar had about 10 people dining room 8

My wife and I are regulars at Hot Tamale. We eat there twice a month. The service is always reliable and fast, whether we eat there or order takeout. The prices are good and the servings generous. The atmosphere is welcoming.
