I had the traditional N.Y. pizza today. It was very very good. The closest to N.Y. pizza this Southern New Yorker ever had in Ct. I think better than the "other" popular pizzerias. The cheese was good quality and plentiful and the crust charred nicely. Thank You!
My wife works down the road and bought a cheese pie for me for lunch. Simply put, it was probably the best CT pizza I ever had. Reminds me of back in the day in Queens and Brooklyn. We've tried all of the highly reviewed new haven spots, we go around trying different pizza places in CT, this place has them beat.
This is the most inconsistent pizza place ever. When it's good, its good but thats few and far between. They skimp out on topping but charge an arm and a leg for them. On top of that your topping will be scattered about like a 2 year old put it on. Some slices will have a little bit of topping while other slices, nothing. 90% of the time it's drenched in sauce.
