I tried their “Sunday sauce” deal. The antipasto starter was very nice with fresh, tasty meats, cheese and veggies. The penne was cooked nicely and the Sunday sauce was really good. I wasn’t crazy about the large meatball though. It was served with garlic bread with cheese. There was so much food - definitely a good value. They were out of cannoli so they offered me any other dessert to go.The service was ok - they were trying at least. I feel the ambience leaves something to be desired. Outside curb appeal isn’t there. Messy flower pots and dirt from overturned pot could easily be tidied up imo.

Can not say enough about Caloroso's Eatery.Food was excellent, staff was gracious and professional.We attended a function that was held downstairs in a private area. They helped me on the chairlift and helped me off. It meant the world to me.. I thought I wasn't able to go.. So, thank you for the lift!! LOL.So yes the food is fantastic,staff and owners are great and if you have a hard time with walking downstairs, don't worry they get you down.......

Shabby place that takes forever to give service.Came for mimosas & was told we could not have pitchers due to time. We were not asking to obtain bottomless mimosa pricing. We were willing to pay for a regular pitcher. We were told they could not. Was interesting that others could get unlimited pitchers of beer. Upon receiving mimosa service is slow, glasses got lower and lower each time. They also were’nt clean.Would not return. Not sure who’s keeping this place open.

Went here on a Saturday, and the place was not busy . The room setting is nice and cozy. The staff were pleasant and always good mood checking on us to see if we were enjoying our food. I ordered blacked chicken with fettuccine, and fiancée ordered the lasagne. Both were delicious. I will definitely be coming back.

Super SMALL salad for $10. I would consider it a side salad for an entree. The wings were extremely over done to point charred and dry crunchy with hardly any meat. Only made it through two wings of the eight. Horrible. Left the restaurant hungry and out $35.

My husband and I came in for early dinner today. Wings were great as an app. My main course Blackend Chicken Alfredo was amazing and huge amount that I took home for later. My husband had the burger and he said, “very tasty. “ Being we were early diners our server I think was the bartender as well. She was very sweet and attentive . We will be back ?

Great food with great company. Awesome waitress, very patient with all our needs. The holiday atmosphere was perfectly festive. Decently sized dishes with reasonable prices. Will be back.Kid-friendliness: Sat in the outside area. Had an outside heater, lights and Christmas trees to keep our child happy.
My husband and I had our rehearsal dinner in their Sky Terrace, and everything exceeded our expectations. The staff is very friendly and easy to work with, the food is delicious, and the environment is comfortable and unique. Highly recommend for any event or just a fun night out!Wheelchair accessibility: The chair lift built into the stairwell allowed several of our mobility impaired guests to enjoy the upstairs Sky Terrace where our event was held. It operated perfectly and the staff jumped right in to help us when it came time to use it.

What a great meal! Was truly impressed by the quality and quantity of the food. Every bite eels shot and fresh. The staff was so nice. The space was a really good size and had plenty of seating both inside and out. All of the food was amazing, but do not miss out on that chocolate cake! Definitely a spot to revisit!

I never leave reviews positive or negative but this needed to be shared.The male, husky manager or owner is extremely rude. I'll never be back or recommend this place.Keeping this post PG but definitely don't recommend going to this place at all.

I am telling everyone out there right now, they're wood fired oven pizza can ABSOLUTELY go head to head with the best of them in New Haven. OUTSTANDING!!! Mushroom and onion is a 10!
