The grinders are good but for the price you pay they don't give you much. I ordered a meatball grinder and got a total of six small meatballs for $15.00. I tried the Italian grinder and the sandwich barely had any meat on it for $15.00. BEWARE IF YOU ORDER THE GRINDERS YOU DO NOT GET YOUR MONEY'S WORTH!!!
Casanova in Shelton is a cozy and charming spot with a warm, welcoming atmosphere that makes for a lovely night out. The service was friendly and attentive without being rushed. Embarrassed to admit that I have lived within a few miles of this restaurant for over 35 years and it took until just recently to see what I was missing for the 25 years or so that it has been open. The atmosphere is great, the food was fantastic, and I will most certainly be back!
