Marketplace Kitchen & Bar in Shelton offers a comfortable atmosphere with enjoyable music playing in the background, which made for a pleasant setting. I ordered the deviled eggs and the steak & frites, paired with a drink from the bar. The deviled eggs were just average; the addition of crushed Frito chips created a flavor profile I didn’t enjoy.

I was given a gift card for this place so we went for a date night. The seared tuna over ramen was delicious. Our server was lovely and we didn't feel rushed at all. The thing that brought it down was where we sat. We were at a table by the server station. There is a narrow space for the staff to go between the bar, kitchen, and station. The food was to die for and the restaurant itself has a beautiful ambiance, very elegant and classy while also modern and chic. I went with a large party and the staff handled us very well. I will absolutely be recommending this place to others as well as returning!
