We had 3 excellent meals. I would give one more star if they had brought salt, pepper, and hot sauce to the table with our meal. I had to get up and ask for it. Very reasonably priced and great quality food.

Once upon a time I compared messimi two Yamagucci in Port Washington.... This is no longer the case. How disappointed we've become overtime, the quality as just gone spiraling down to the point where I had to contact the owner and tell them let the presentation and all of the fragrant, beautiful vegetables including the incorporation of flower arrangements was gone. That's okay, but the love that was once served. And the sense of pride I've been subversed by a staff...

I had the hibachi at Misimi, and I recommend coming here to anyone in the area. The atmosphere of the restaurant is very nice, featuring a good waiting area inside, and a koi pond outside. Each hibachi table features lighting underneath, along with colored lighting on the ceiling of the sushi area.
