I have been getting fish and chips from them not a lot but 2-3 times a year for the last 6-7 years and have always raved about there fish and chips as being the best and freshest I’ve ever had they disappointed me this evening at the Bethlehem Christmas Festival the one I got this evening tasted a little off like ammonia I thought it strange but ate it just the same so I looked up why does my fried cod taste like ammonia? Come to find out if you search that it says that the fish is not fresh it’s old so be that as it may I probably won’t eat here again which is a shame Because I really loved them before this experience.

We used the Szabo Food Truck for our 'Under the Sea' summer party. I cannot say enough about what a terrific experience it was working with the Szabos from start to finish. They were very flexible with my menu options, were willing to drive to NJ for my event, the service was flawless, and the food was phenomenal. My guests have continued to rave about the food days after the event. I would not hesitate to call them again. Thank you!

I love a good CT style buttered lobster roll so I ordered one from their food truck at an event. $25 for the lobster roll, fries, coleslaw, lemon. It wasn’t bad but it wasn’t great; the lobster was small chopped pieces and I got more than one bite with shell. I love butter but it was way too much and it covered the roll and my hands and the paper it came wrapped in. There wasn’t much flavor and it was mostly greasy and messy. I have a feeling that this place has better fried seafood so if I’m at an event and want to order from this truck, I’ll get the fried scallops or shrimp instead. I don’t think they have fried clams. Unfortunately, I now see why no one ever recommends this place for a good lobster roll in CT and I wouldn’t either. The staff was friendly though.

The seafood is fresh and well made. We had fish and chips. The fish was succulent, the bread was nice and the chips were on-point. The clam-chowder was typical New-England. The tarter sauce was amazing. The best authentic New England seafood restaurant.

We cannot speak highly enough of Cathy, Danny and Max. They catered a party for us and the food and service was spectacular. They provided a wonderful shrimp cocktail with a great cocktail sauce. The main meal was lobster rolls which were very generous and the lobster was perfectly tender. They also had steak cooked to order that our guests raved about. They topped it off with watermelon. On top of it the family are genuinely great people which made it even that much better. If you are looking for mobile catering this is the place to go for sure!
