“We just had a brunch for 70+ people after a funeral here last weekend. The owner was wonderful. I did not have to worry about a thing. The food was terrific, the staff wonderful, the venue perfect...they could even have accomodated more folks if needed. I didn't have to worry about thing. I highly recommend Cotton Hollow Kitchen. Very pleased.“

“Very interesting place . Cute old house hard to imagine that it was a jailhouse! Our waitress was nice and helpful. I had the honey siracha wings my friend had the burger. I had a yummy drink but I can't remember the name of it. I would definitely go again to try more on the menu!“

“Ok, I been coming in for Many, Many Years and is The Best Fried Chicken That I ever had. And I Never had any inconveniences At all. Like everyone knows Perfect Chicken ? it takes time to make and cook. You just don't want to eat something that is not done right. “Dante and the crew hosted the Wolf Pack Booster Club and the Providence Bruins Fan Club for family dinner yesterday! It was awesome. The food was amazing, the service was awesome and the experience was great. I appreciated that they were able to accomodate a large group before a big game. Awesome Cheeseburger pizza as always!! The garlic knots and the meatballs were also amazing!“

“There are a number of very good restaurants/eateries in Old Wethersfield. Smoked on Main is a gem specializing in BQ and BQ/fusion. It adds a more casual vibe to the area without sacrificing quality. I reviewed the menu before entering and thought I had decided on a very traditional bq meal. But when I saw the specials, my plans went out the window. I chose an order of 2 specials: Turkey empanadas and the beef habanero tacos. Both were presented well and had phenomenal flavor. I don't want to forget to mention that both dishes had a nice kick... not unbearably hot, just a wonderful kick to the taste buds. This place is a great addition to the Old Wethersfield dining scene. There's indoor seating in a very clean and modern interior. This location was the Grange Hall and obviously has gone through a major renovation. There will be outdoor seating once the warmer weather returns. I'll be back.“

“I visited the Hartford location although I believe there is one in the New Haven area. The variety of menu choices is wonderful and the staff is absolutely friendly and accommodating,some of the best of any restaurant I've visited. Next, the food is sooo delicious,cooked to perfection and one of my choices was "burnt ends", well they were the best I have ever eaten, so tender they practically melt in your mouth and the flavor, the seasoning is A+!!! This is the place for your best barbeque experience.My mouth is watering just remembering my visit. Not just 2thumbs up ,10 fingers up !Parking: There is some street parking but we chose to park in a parking garage.“

“Cleanest Chinese restaurant in hartford you can physically see the grill/equitment always being shined cleaned service is great, every time I go in I’m always greeted well!They try to there hardest to minimize the wait time which is great..When I order food I wait less than 2 mins to be acknowledged and served!! “I've been here a couple of times now and both times were great. The service was quick, friendly, and fast. The food came out looking and tatsing delicious. I've only dined outside on their spacious patio because the weather was great. They had the heater blasting which I requested to to be turned down because it was burning my head, other patrons agreed.I started off with a Saturday fun day glass of their Green Mind Avocado Margarita, yes, you read that right; avocado mixed into a margarita, very interesting but it worked. The drink was on the smaller side for $13 and change but it was good and I could taste the slight creaminess of the avocado. They had a good sized cocktail menu and a variety of craft beers.On this most recent visit, I had the Korean BBQ burger. OMG, juicy and flavorful; it had gochujang mayo, kimchi, onion straws, and Korean BBQ sauce. The fries were crunchy and seasoned well. I wished there were more pickled cucumber slices because those were BANGIN'. “The food is the same great quality Bears BBQ just in a smaller take out style restaurant. There are a couple of picnic tables outside if you're looking to eat there. I would highly recommend it for anyone looking for excellent BBQ in the area.“
