“I got food here at the Glastonbury Apple Festival on 10/19 and it was really good! I’m Jamaican myself so I’m usually a little skeptical but the food was delicious, I got the escovitch fish with festival and fried chicken with rice and peas and curry gravy. I believe it was a man that made my food so I can’t speak for anyone else but overall it was very good.“

“Had my son’s 21st Birthday party. Spent the whole day cooking. I am so glad I had Cocktails and the Carriage there to take care of the bartending. It’s usually my job as well. It took a huge burden off of my shoulders. The drinks were fantastic and the bartender was unbelievable. I actually got to sit down and relax a bit which never happens. “Great Halal food options... chicken over rice, lamb over rice, or combo. Gyros, fried fish, different sandwiches, and drinks available. Only downside I'd say is the fact it's smack dab in the middle of downtown. Otherwise, it's a spectacular deal for the current times.“

“This is the best soul food place that I have ever eaten hands down. My fried chicken was fried hard and crispy my Mac and Cheese was cheesy and to die for. the potato salad o my goodness delicious! I almost forgot to mention the banana pudding is off the chain!.... stop wasting your money at these mediocre fast food joints go to Hot Pockets on Main Street in Hartford CT and get you some real food!“

“Thought we'd grab a bite before the US have vs Bosnia and the Tenders-n-waffles really hit the spot. Waffles are legit liege waffles but a tad small. The chicken was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside.

I didn't think I'd be able to finish so of it but that didn't turn out to be an issue.

It takes 10-15 minutes for the order so don't show up expecting food right away but it's worth the wait.

It's a small storefront so seating is limited. If you need to eat in, you may have to share a picnic table with other patrons. We took it out so and the food traveled well.
