I used to be the Executive Chef there way back in 1994. Helmar and Arturo were the owners then. I retired now finally in May 2025 and was getting ready to move to the Philippines for good and get married to my Pinay wife. I had some good memories and of course when I was Executive Chef I made sure the food was exceptional. We took "Best Continental Cuisine" that year in Connecticut magazine. The seafood, the atmosphere and our server, Amanda
Though the food and atmosphere were fantastic, the service was terrible. Our server, Emma was haughty and rude. Overall just very bad at her job. We observed her treat a large party next to us very badly, telling them she had another party coming in to hurry them along. Another party was never sat at that table.
