Last evening we celebrated my sister’s birthday in the tavern. The food was delicious (really lovely chicken sandwich with pesto and roasted red pepper & everything fries) and the drinks were refreshing. And most special of all was the service and atmosphere proved by the staff. The fireplace was kept roaring and warm and we had great conversation with the engaging man who kept the wood on. One of my favorite spots to visit when I’m in CT! The service and atmosphere are very welcoming. Whether it’s a trivia night or playing pool, we always have a good time! We’ve had Yeshuva as a waiter a few times and he’s always very attentive and friendly. Their wings and ribeye sandwich are a must!
Great food, great environment. We had little kids and it was perfect. Pool table for adults. Lots of TVs for the football games and Yeshuva (our server) was awesome! Super attentive and great with the kids. Couldn’t ask for more — oh, and prices were very reasonable!
