I have mixed feelings about my visit, but I really appreciated the management’s professionalism.
The Food: I would definitely skip the Hibachi. The noodles were very burnt and so heavy on the garlic that it tasted more like an Italian pasta dish than an Asian meal, which was disappointing. The chicken was super slimey but i did eat it because the noodles were just so bad. However, the sushi was good! Just a heads up: make sure you know exactly what you ordered, as the chef struggled to identify the specific rolls when they were brought to the table.
The Service: It did take quite a long time to get our food. However, the staff was incredibly kind and transparent about being short staffed. The owner and manager were very well-mannered and respectful, and they even took $10 off my meal to make up for the wait, which was a very nice gesture. I’d come back for the sushi, but I'll be skipping the hibachi next time.

Nice little restaurant in a small plaza near Courtyard and Homewood Suites.
Had the Cinnamon Ginger Tea and the Dolsot Bibimbap (beef). EXCELLENT!!! Good sized portion. Flavor was amazing. Nice presentation. Side sauce a little spicy but verrrrry good.
Server was super attentive and friendly.

As another customer said in their review, want to give this place more stars, the food is very good. The short staffing is awful. My dinner companions were given their food 30 minutes before mine arrived, which I ended up taking to go. Disappointing experience.

My family and I came in today for lunch. The service was amazing. The food was outstanding. And the atmosphere was cozy and comfortable. I don't know if the gentleman was the owner or not. But he waited on us, cooked our food, and checked on us all by himself!!! Talk about a one man show. He did it all without us even having to ask for anything. When I'm in CT again I definitely will be back.

The food was great. Friendly service. A little slow on the initial ordering but very attentive after. There at dinner time and very busy for a small place. Recommended by my customer and happy I chose this place.

Absolutely my favorite sushi place thus far. The place is so calm and chill. If you want to have a nice quiet date night this will be the place to go. Service is excellent and friendly. The food is so fresh prepared to order.
I was really disappointed with my experience at Koshi. The sushi itself was pretty standard, but the prices were surprisingly high for what you get. I ordered the bibimbap, expecting a hearty dish, but it came with barely a spoonful of beef, a cup of rice, some veggies on the side, and one egg - definitely not worth $17. I asked for more beef or a different option, and they let me switch to special roll instead. Again, $17 for a pretty basic sushi roll felt like a ripoff. For that price, I could get almost two Chipotle bowls.. Definitely not a place I’d return to, especially considering the portion sizes vs. cost. I tried to give this place a second shot after my first experience wasn't good (ordered a Korean dish, barely any protein and it was sitting in a pile of oil), and it was still disappointing.
Very Good
The bulgogi is to die for. They make the best beef fried rice I've ever had. On our last visit we tried the udon which was also great. The sushi is good too, which seems to be what most people come for bit don't sleep on the other Japanese and Korean dishes
I ordered vegetable fried rice, a sweet potato roll and an avocado jalapeno roll and I licked the plate clean. It was so scrumptious!!
