Such a great location to relax and enjoy the beauty of nature surrounding us here. The views are spectacular! Northeast you can see all the way to the Hartford skyline. Turn 180 degrees and it feels like you can see forever. The ciders are wonderful - hard or not! Love the slushies !! (tried the apple brandy and was not disappointed!)
The food trucks are always top notch! You can go for an hour, an afternoon or an evening.

First time here tonight. We had rain of course- their FIRST and only priority was everyone’s safety from the storm. Secondly, the bar service was impeccable. Not only were they nice AND friendly AND welcoming.. the views felt like we were on vacation. Signs were perfect for entrance. The food truck was friendly. The bathrooms… cleanest I’ve ever experienced in my 30 ish 😉 years of life. Everything was clean. Easy to read. Wow… so accommodating and very excited to return....read full review

Long View Ciderhouse Orchard Bar is a fantastic spot and newer gem in a beautiful, rural part of Southington, offering spectacular and incredible views. From the platform, one direction looks towards the Hartford skyline and the other towards New Haven, feeling like you can see forever. The atmosphere is great with a great outdoor setup, including fire pits for rent, plenty of chairs, a large tent, and green space with lawn games. The ciders are fantastic, wonderful, and great, with hard and non-hard options, slushies, apple brandy, and flights available from an expansive selection. Food trucks are usually present and always top notch, with one named Paki-Taco mentioned. The service and staff are very friendly. A noted downside is the very rough road leading to the parking lot. The area can be a little buggy at sun down. It is a beautiful place to relax for an hour, an afternoon, or an evening.
