Our first visit to Pesto’s definitely won’t be our last! We started with the New York-style fried calamari, which was absolutely delicious. I had the veal parmigiana, and my wife had the pasta alla mare… we both loved our meals.
The portions were very generous, the salads were incredibly fresh and crisp, and even the bread served with dinner was excellent. Everything was flavorful and perfectly prepared.

The food is good, chicken Parmigiano is amazing, Danni ( bartender) created a very good drink, Teramasu White Russion a must try.

Pesto’s - Restaurant, Bar & Pizzaria in Southington is a place worth checking out. The food is always fresh and flavorful, and the service is consistently great. Guests have enjoyed the New York-style fried calamari, veal parmigiana, pasta alla mare, penne vodka, spaghetti & meatballs, pepperoni pizza, fried mozzarella, quesadillas, and Salmon Rose' Pasta. The portions are very generous, the salads are incredibly fresh and crisp, and even the bread served with dinner is excellent. Everything is flavorful and perfectly prepared. The restaurant has a beautiful bar with 5 TV's, a beautiful atmosphere, and is very clean with clean bathrooms. The music playing is delightful. The staff and owner go above and beyond to make celebrations something to remember. The owner is a master chef. It is beautiful inside and absolutely charming outside where you can listen to music on the center green. Pesto’s should be packed. It is the best kept secret in the Hartford/New Haven/Fairfield County areas.
