About The Daily Slate

The Daily Slate is a restaurant that offers a fantastic food experience with a thoughtful and unique menu. Guests have praised the Turkish eggs, wild mushroom omelet, shashuka, and Chiliquiles, along with the breakfast potatoes. The croissants are described as the best ever, especially with the jams and spreads. The iced coffee and tiramisu latte are also great, though the latte can be a little too sweet for some. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the service is outstanding, with friendly, attentive, and welcoming staff. The owner is attentive to guests. It is a great spot for parents, as kids can get their griddle favorites while parents enjoy something more flavorful and fresh. The restaurant uses eco-friendly to-go containers, which is appreciated. Some guests noted that the eggs in the omelet tasted like a liquid egg mixture rather than freshly cracked eggs, but the omelet was still flavorful. Overall, The Daily Slate is a hidden gem with the best breakfast options in the area, a wonderful combination of fresh ingredients and flavor, and a place that many cannot wait to return to.

I had a lovely brunch with my fiancée! The food and service were excellent!
Wow! Went in for the first time yesterday with my kids and the food was fantastic. The Turkish eggs were to die for. Can’t wait to go back and try more of the unique dishes on the menu.
This place rocks. We loved our server (flower earrings girl 😉), down to earth, friendly and helpful. I am so impressed with their very thoughtful menu, hats off to the chef for going with some unusual options and nailing them. Everything was delicious. It’s really not easy owning a restaurant and everyone involved in this place should be really proud. Can’t wait to go back!
