Good vibe

I recently visited this place and, while the atmosphere is great and the beer selection is impressive, my experience was marred by a shocking incident.

Unfortunately, the blonde bartender (drives a Volvo) took my cousins purse and drove away with it. While she did return later, her cash was missing. It's disheartening because the place itself has a lot of potential and a nice vibe.

Be cautious if you decide to visit—keep your belongings close and be aware of the staff. I hope management addresses this situation, as it’s a shame for such a nice spot to be tainted by theft.

I hosted at 50th Birthday at Shippan last weekend. From my first email the staff were responsive and really helpful for planning. The food from their catering menu was fantastic and we got so much more than what was expected. The staff was incredibly friendly and a pleasure to work with. They have a great selection of beers on tap, and plenty of other non-beer options that caters to everyone's tastes. The band they had later in the evening was fantastic as well. If you're looking to host a gathering I would highly recommend Shippan, you will not be disappointed.

I came here because I’ve heard great things and was craving one of my all-time favorite burgers from Daniel’s food truck. Luckily for me, it was here that day! I absolutely love their “Gauchito” burger, and it did not disappoint. This beauty comes on a brioche bun with a juicy burger patty, chimichurri sauce, cheese, lettuce, tomato, onions, and mayo. Oh, and I got the fries—delicious!

This location is awesome—there’s plenty of seating, a variety of food options (depending on which trucks are available), and they even serve alcoholic drinks. The service was quick, and the views are amazing—one might even say breathtaking! You really can’t ask for a better spot to unwind during the summer. Plus, there are bathrooms available, which is always a bonus.

The only downside? Parking can be tricky when it’s packed. But honestly, that’s a small price to pay for such a great experience. I highly recommend stopping by while it’s warm out—you won’t be disappointed. I’ll definitely be back!

Food trucks are pretty good, mostly fast food. Frozen drinks were very refreshing, beer was nice and cold and there was a great Dj playing when we arrived, once the Dj finished they had a band play which was quite entertaining. I cannot comment on service because it’s pretty much self serve, you go to a register and order and pick up your own food and drinks, the ambiance is very chilled and relaxed, a nice place to talk and hang out with friends. It is also pet friendly. I would definitely recommend it if your looking for a relaxing afternoon.
