I want to start by giving a HUGE shoutout to Nicki (apologies for any mis-spelling). She was our waitress last Friday night. It was nice to be able to have a drink while we waited outside until a table opened up, which was well worth the wait. I don't believe it is an exaggeration to say I have never seen a waitress work as hard as she did considering all the people she was waiting on, including those outside waiting for tables. For a very very busy restaurant they make you feel at home! Nikki (sorry if I didn't spell.it right) was attentive and balanced with all her tables. Food... holy cow you feel like your sitting with your grandmother and any wish you want can be delivered, because they can!! The mousse and and lemoncello sent the night over the moon...! Definitely worth any drive or wait!!!!
It was the number one suggested dining experience for a work trip to Stamford. We were able to walk in and get a table for three at 5:15 which we were told would be a long shot but the gentlemen was very accommodating even though it appeared to be quite busy. The server was great and he had great descriptive suggestions for each of us based on what we were looking for. They adjust ingredients to make each dish as we wished and the food was excellent!
