I know I will get food here whenever I come to the area.

I found the food at the restaurant to be lacking in quality and taste. There's definitely room for improvement in terms of the food's flavor and overall deliciousness.Kid-friendliness: It’s a food court of a shopping mall, very easily accessible for any age group.Wheelchair accessibility: Thee lift is provided at the entrance of the shopping mall, and on each floor.

The portion of chicken you get is noticeably less than the last time I ate here. The price is up (like everywhere), but the portion is down.

Almost hidden at the far end of the food court at the Stamford mall, it doesn't catch your eye immediately but to us regulars it's the definition of Japanese takeout/fast food. The food is good, not heavy or too greasy despite the oil they squirt unto the meat during the grilling process. Still their teriyaki chicken is soft and succulent. Their seasoning and salt are minimal but along with the always fresh veggies the result is healthy and satisfying food even if a little bland. The counter service staff is polite and attentive to your requests but as for atmosphere I'm not sure what to say. There is none. This is the mall after all. They are very fast at getting your meal ready but don't expect them to smile and make small chat. Fast good food. That is the point!

I have loved having teriaki at the top of Stamford Mall for over 10 years. Maybe because Ichiban is so good. It might be odd for CT, but back in L.A. a great chicken teriyaki lunch is king. There used to be other good food at the mall food court but now its mostly junk food, except for Ichiban.

Took couple order to know what is best for me, but since I found it I only get the chicken. Wish all dishes would be like it.

Ichiban is my favorite restaurant in the Stamford Town Center! I love the chicken teriyaki combo meal! It includes chicken teriyaki, vegetable fried rice or lo mein noodles, and vegetables. (I always get the lo mein noodles, but the vegetable fried rice looks tasty, too.) I like that I can watch the chef grill the chicken teriyaki and vegetables while I wait. Additionally, the noodles and rice are replenished regularly and look very fresh. I think that this restaurant on the seventh-floor food court is the only one that consistently has a long line, especially on the weekends. It seems to be the most popular restaurant, and I am not surprised. The combo meal is a complete meal--protein, vegetable, and starch. It's a healthy meal, too, and the serving is generous. (The price is reasonable, too.) Whenever I go to the food court, I look around at the people eating, and many have the chicken teriyaki combo meal. Stop by Ichiban and get the chicken teriyaki combo meal! I suspect you'll love it!

Ichiban Teriyaki is the only resturant I eat at this mall. They have the lowest price, good portion, always fresh, delicious and consistent. Great service and fast.
