Small but one of the best Japanese restaurants in town. Always fresh, fast and delicious. Recommend the mango chicken and pineapple rice.

This is the freshest Asian food in Stamford. Basil beef and General Tso’s Chicken are delicious. Cooked to order.

The salmon was extraordinarily fresh, beautiful fish. The beach roll was delicious as well. Highly recommend!

This is one of my favorite places! Their sushi is absolutely amazing ... I've been going there for over 15 years and even got engaged 12 years ago, in the very booth we are tonight! ?

I lived in Japan for several years and, since returning to Stamford, I have been looking for a Japanese restaurant that knows how correctly to prepare and serve Japanese food, sashimi and sushi in particular. After many unsatisfactory experiences at various local spots I found Kiku and my search was over. These folks really know their Japanese cooking. Everything was perfect -- and the price is very reasonable. Now, I eat at Kiku once a week and find 100% satisfaction. They also do a very tasty drunken noodles, but I go there mainly for their raw fish. Also, attentive service. Just great! To find this sort of dining experience in a strip mall in Springdale is amazing.

The main woman working the front is rude, unprofessional and had no customer service whatsoever. I asked for extra “duck sauce” and she kept saying they don’t have duck sauce. It was clear that maybe I didn’t know the name of the actual sauce so I started to explain what I wanted. I’ve had it there plenty of times at kiku and I’ve used the term “duck sauce “ before. She seemed agitated that I was asking for it but what can I say, that sauce is good. After explaining it she said it’s a dollar per sauce. I then told her that’s fine, I would like 5 of them. It’s almost like she thought because she said they were a dollar each it would deter me. I need that. She went to the back and brought some other spicy sauce and I told her that wasn’t it. I explained the sauce to the best of my ability and she finally got it. I said thank you and asked what’s the actual name for future reference and she ignored me. I was standing right in front of her face and she wouldn’t acknowledge me. I’ve been eating here for at least 10 years and I will never go back. The food is good but I can’t support folks that treat other folks like that.

Amazing food and everything tasted flavorful. The ambience is nice even though it is a small restaurant and fine for smaller groups, The dishes we ordered - Sushi sashimi combo, drunken noodles & Chicken teriyaki bento.

Food is so so and tempura is apparently precooked. Fish not high grade. Overall food is over priced. Service is good.

Amazing!!! The food was great and so was the service. I went solo to try it out because I never had it before. I’m happy with my decision too. When I got sat it was not crazy busy but the crowed started coming in. There was ONLY one server and she was taking care of the whole restaurant of guests (besides to-gos) I was highly impressed (I’m a server myself). She also did it without an attitude or a rude energy.

This is the kind of sushi place I like - just a cozy little hole in the wall with great service and sushi. Brought my kids and had a great time, will definitely return soon.Kid-friendliness: There was a big party of kids on the other side of the restaurant could barely hear them.Parking: Its in a strip mall so there is plenty of parking although it got pretty bust on a Saturday night.

I have been coming to Kiku sushi since 2004. I have traveled around the world. I am not a fish expert. I am not a sushi expert. But baby, I know good sushi when I have it. Kiku has some of the best sushi I’ve ever had in my life. Always fresh, never fails.
