The food was delicious, the service was incredible and the owner is so kind! We went there for my dad's birthday and we all loved the food! The rava dosa was so so good! Definitely recommend!

Absolutely don’t recommend this place. Ordered through Uber eats and the food was not great!!!I should have understood when many items were ‘buy 1 get 1’…something was meant to be wrong…I guess the dosa batter was spoiled?! we had to throw out the entire thing and ordered pizza!

Delicious food. Immaculately clean ladies room. Supreme service. Our group, of seven adults, sat for three hours, comfortably.

Third time in this restaurant. It has really good South and Northern Indian food, all of them vegetarian. A plus, in my opinion, in a neighborhood full of restaurants with only meat in their menus. This time I only had the introductory lunch, but it was worth it. I could see this as a fun appetizer for a group of two or three. Also I tried Rupee, their Indian lager, and it was really really good. I had an spill and one of the girls there quickly helped me to clean, so service is quite good. What I don't like is the atmosphere. The three times I went there it was dead silent, not even quiet music on the background, just silence. Now this time it was also dark, and way too hot. It lacks some ventilation I guess.I say this in a constructive way, because the restaurant is really good, is not generic Indian food you'll get anywhere else. It's unique.

Had the pleasure of ordering from Navaratna in Stamford via UberEats, and I must say, it was a delightful experience from start to finish. Despite ordering through a delivery service, my food was prepared promptly for pickup. I opted for a selection of dishes to sample the diverse flavors Navaratna has to offer. The Bhindi Chettinad was a standout with just the right spice level at (spicy), with tender okra cooked to perfection in a flavorful blend of spices. The Palak Paneer was equally impressive, with creamy spinach sauce complementing the soft paneer cubes. The Bhindi Do Piaza offered a delightful twist on okra with its aromatic onion-based gravy, while the Sabzi Mandi showcased a vibrant medley of mixed vegetables bursting with freshness. (For whatever reason, the Sabzi Mandi is listed on UberEats but not on Navaratna's online menu) Despite the pickup process, each dish arrived hot and fresh, a testament to Navaratna's commitment to quality and attention to detail. The flavors were authentic and robust. Looking forward to exploring more of their menu again soon!

To look at the inside of the restaurant you would think differently. But don't let that turn you away. The food is amazing. I had spinach paneer and it was awesome. Portions are just right. Tried other dishes and they were fantastic. The service was a little slow, but to be fair it was busy. But they were very friendly and accommodating. This is must go if your in Stamford, CT.

Ambience was just average. There were chef specials. Taste was average too. Staff was friendly. Only vegetarian. So that's good.

If not my absolute favorite restaurant, it’s at least my top 5. They’re fast, the food is DELICIOUS, and the service is INCREDIBLE. They’re also affordable and give great-sized portions, especially if you’re getting your food to go. I cannot recommend this kosher and vegetarian restaurant enough. (If you’re new to Indian food and the menu is overwhelming, Google is your friend. You really can’t go wrong with whatever you pick though, and the staff is happy to help you.)

This is by far my most favorite restaurant! We live 3 hours away but make special trips to Stamford just so we can eat here. The food is always delicious, plentiful and affordable! Their menu has so many options to choose from and we love trying new dishes each time we are there! I wish we lived closer!Parking: There are usually spots available on the street, metered parking.

We don't have any South Indian vegetarian restaurant where we live. So, we drive about 50 miles to this restaurant and combine the trip with some Indian grocery shopping.. The food here is truly tasty and authentic. The restaurant is clean and good. Most importantly, the waiters are cheerful and friendly. During our visit last week, we bumped into the owner of the restaurant who also owns a few more Indian restaurants in NYC. Very nice person.. I'll certainly recommend this restaurant!

Amazing! First and foremost, all the food was delicious! I’ve never had authentic Indian cuisine but this doesn’t taste American or like a restaurant pandering to American tastes, it tastes different and just absolutely delicious! The owner and staff were also just the nicest people, they were patient and friendly and lovely to be with. They had great recommendations and service with a smile :) We way over ordered and got to taste a little bit of everything and the whole dinner was so affordable! Go, go now. This is something everyone should experience. Get the mango lassi. You’re welcome ?
