Not good. I've made way better guacamole and margaritas at home.

My credit card was given to another customer. Instead of taking accountability, the management told me I was wrong and to call the police if I disagreed, resulting in my first 911 call. Absurd.

Too expensive for the experience, the manager was not in a good mood and never asked us how were we doing.

Riviera Maya offers tasty Peruvian cuisine with some standout dishes, but the overall dining experience is affected by slow and inattentive service.

Walking into Riviera Maya, we stood waiting at the host stand for a minute with no one in sight, which set the tone for the service. Once seated, we waited around 10 minutes before anyone took our order. The server took our menus before we even had the chance to confirm what we wanted, which felt rushed and a bit unprofessional. After placing our order, the food came out about 10 minutes later.

The food itself was solid. We ordered tacu tacu—a seafood dish served over rice in a rich sauce—and I had the 8oz steak with rice, fries, plantains, egg, peppers, and a few stalks of asparagus. The fries and rice were a tad under-seasoned, and the steak was initially overcooked. I sent it back, and while the server seemed irritated, the second steak they brought out was perfect: tender, soft, and flavorful.

The total came out to about $90 with a 15% gratuity included. My dish was $49, and with a basic estimate, my dad’s tacu tacu was likely around $30–$32, plus two drinks (a water and a club soda), which fits the final total.

While the food was enjoyable, the service really needs work. A more attentive, welcoming approach would elevate the experience significantly. I’d consider coming back for the food, but I’d hope to see improvements on the hospitality side

Best Mexican food delivery in Stamford !
I have never eaten at the restaurant, we always order delivery. food usually arrives within an hour the portions are enough and food is fresh and delicious, my favorite is the tortilla soup and tacos al carbon also they always add a free dessert sometimes a tres leches cake or churros with ice cream.

Went there with a colleague for dinner. While the food was quite good (the freshly made guacamole was excellent), the service left much to be desired. The waitress never came back to see if we were happy with our meal (a personal pet peeve) and I had to get up and go to the bar to ask for our check after waiting for 10 minutes our waitress to notice we were ready to pay.

And the atmosphere was disturbed by 2 obviously drunk, unruly, loud obnoxious guys at the bar. No one on the staff addressed the matter (mostly women, so I couldn't blame them), and there was no manager or male presence (the male waiters just ignored these buffoons) to address the situation.

I won't be going back.

I went to this restaurant and had dinner with a friend the server has no idea about customer service, the server RAMON was so rude he barely went to our table to check on us, after we finish our dinner the add the GRATUITY on the check which the menu says will be added on party’s of 5+ people which it’s so disappointing, the server charge me twice I didn’t notice after few days, so I called the restaurant the MANAGER name BENITO doesn’t know how to treat the customer he said call you bank account to fix the problem, if he can’t fix the issues of the restaurant why he’s there??

This is not a Mexican restaurant! The food and especially the drinks were not good. I ordered a margarita and it was horrible. Came in plastic cups too. Then realized that everyone that was there on a Saturday night was ordering bottled beers. I guess they were all aware that their mixed drinks suck.

went to this establishment on Friday night for a drinks with my boyfriend
I’m going to keep it short. We were discriminated for kissing and grabbing my boyfriend hands and I asked for the manager the one who refused to hear me out and he asked us to leave very rude
