We waited an hour just to get a regular cheese pizza to go. I had to go up to one of the workers to ask if my order was coming up any soon and he came out immediately with a cold pizza that was no longer appetizing taste wise and look wise. All employees would just walk by everyone not helping customers. Waste of money and time.

This is a great pizza place but every time we go we complain about how loud they play the music. It's not a club! There are families and older people especially earlier in the evening and for some reason despite the complaints of several tables, “we can't turn the music down on Friday or Saturday evening.” It's absurd. We very reluctantly go anymore bc it is just too loud. My mother after our last visit said- this is the last time she will go.
Sadly second time my wife and I have tried Sally’s in Stamford and disappointed both times. Over the weekend went with friends and the experience was not great leaving me to wonder if the location is inline with all others?
Beers were warm, first round and replacements, and tasted stale.
Pizza took along time to come out, restaurant wasn’t busy, pizzas weren’t put in as I walked by the oven several times. Room temp when it did come out. Site also has reduced the size by eliminating the large and renaming the medium to large. Server said it was for “waste” reduction
Bills were wrong, manager went to fix but didn’t reprint for us to sign, just said it’s fixed, leaving us to trust that happened and update the signed copy. Come Monday morning, this wasn’t corrected and had to call the bank with photos of receipts.
Understaffed, one server and several runners.
Overall, a general lack of management is obvious. With so many great pizzas in the area, we have no plans to return.

Absolutely my favorite pizza. I always go to the New Haven when I'm in town, but this location I'll never visit again. Service is absolutely terrible. I'm fairly sure the manager and server have never worked in the service industry before. I recommend making the drive up to New Haven.

Waiter dropped pizzas and new pizza took an hour to come out of the oven and they dropped it. The manager ended up bringing the pizza. Fire the waiter. Don’t come here.

Service was horrible. We were sat right at 7 for our reservation, which was great. We ordered drinks and apps/salads right away. And asked for waiter to come back in a few minutes. He didn't come back for over 20 minutes. So, from the time of walking in to the time we ordered our meal it took over 40 minutes. Nothing came out together. Our salad came first. We were done with salad by the time the wings came. About 25 min after our aps, we got the first pizza (Luke warm), we all shared because the second and third pizzas came out separately about ten minutes apart . The two other pizzas were good. What we were expecting. The few tables bext to us were experiencing the same situation. No apologies for food cold or coming out separately. Our bill was way too much for the service and the quality of the salad (wilted from too much dressing) a cold Pizza Special that the cheese was almost hard.

It took them 2.5 hours just to make one small pizza.
Would recommend for the food but the wait time is super long

Don’t order appetizers, calamari was 60% breading 20% pickles, the wings had no seasonings whatsoever, and pizza is beyond mediocre. I liked Sally’s in new heaven, but I would call the Stamford location a bad dupe of it.

Service was terrible. Waited 20 mins for a waiter. Then about 30 mins for drinks, needed to flag down another servicer. Then they ran out of carafes for water and insisted we buy bottled water if we wanted water. Nothing like New Haven or Fairfield.
The worst excuse for a restaurant. Given a table then waited at least 10 minutes for the waitress. She came over and asked if we were ready to order. She then said, oh you don’t have menus. She brought menus. She asked if we ever ate here? We said no. We asked what are they known for. She said in so many words chared crust. We said we don’t care for burnt pizza. She tried to make understand their ovens are heated by coal. In my mind I said OK but I don’t like burnt crust. We waited for approximately 20 minutes for our pie to arrive. Nothing spectacular… took a couple of slices home maybe better today. The place is old and worn out, including the bathroom with no hot water and cold water that dribbles out to wash your hands. To top off total with tax and tip about $50 for 1,pizza & 1 Tiramisu. We will never return & don’t understand the hype.

Very good experience for our group of 9 people. Very accommodating, our waiter was excellent, food was served quickly. Loved the chopped salad and the arancini a lot, pizza was big and delicious. Great place for a group of people
Very upscale and fancy if you're thinking about the one on Wooster Street. Thy have pasta and deserts and lots of fancy things.
But the pizza is on par with the one on Wooster Street, which is what I figure most people care about.

My first taste of New Haven style pizza did not disappoint! We stopped in for a late lunch and the atmosphere was great. Pizza was delicious, thin, crispy and the toppings were generous! Their spin on a wedge salad was also excellent, and it was definitely a shareable sized portion. Shoutout to our server, Mickey, for making it an even better dining experience! He was friendly and funny and totally on point!
