Making the order with attitude and still making it wrong

Food was pretty good. Ordered the beef & lamb and lamb only gyros with all the toppings and Tahiti white sauce. It was delicious. The guys there were real friendly and helpful. Wouldn't mind going back there if we are back in town. Didn't spend a ton of money. Thanks Shah!!!!!

Food was not good. The sides are limits and bland. I also thought the lamb was chunks of lamb meat but it’s gyro lamb. Think lamb in hotdog form and taste.
The young woman on the line and the man who rung me up both had sour attitudes. I should have took that as a sign not to eat here.

I first found Shah’s Halal Food when I was sick and ordered through Uber Eats. It hit exactly the way comfort food should. Rich, flavorful, and satisfying without trying too hard.

The second time was late at night when most places in Stamford were already closed. Somehow, this same spot that came through when I was sick was open again. That alone makes it a bit of a lifesaver around here.

I’ve only tried two things so far, the kofta platter and the chicken kebab gyro. Both were on point. Well seasoned, generous portions, and packed with flavor. The menu is broader than you’d expect, with everything from salads to burgers and even Philly cheesesteaks. I stuck with the Mediterranean side, and based on that alone, I’d trust the rest of the menu holds up.

This isn’t a place you take a first date. It’s a no-frills, grab your food and go kind of spot. But what it lacks in atmosphere, it makes up for in flavor and reliability.

And honestly, in a city where food options drop off hard after hours, Shah’s Halal Food is a quiet gem that delivers when you need it most.

really good chicken over rice and shawarma rice plate!! loved the green curry sauce

Worst shawarma ever they think we don’t know about anything how’s shawarma make and taste their other food is 100% good but they did make worst shawarma ever even they don’t have live bbq grill for shawarma they used cold stuff bread and used leftover chicken pieces -99/100
