What can I say? One of my favorite places to eat of all time. From the authenticity of the food and ingredients, to the warmness of the family who makes it possible. Down to the staff, the servers who have always treated me with kindness, respect, and sincere friendliness. I highly recommend this place to anyone who enjoys Ethiopian or Eritrean cuisine.

I hardly ever review anything but I had to make an exception for the is place. I went all the way to Ethiopia and ate the food there and let me tell you Teff is on par if not better then many places there. I’m not gonna bore you with the details of the perfect balances of spice and flavor. Or with the facts that the everything thing is always fresh and the texture is always scrumptious and the injera is most and a bit tart. Okay now I’m getting a bit extra but to conclude I applaud the consistency of this restaurant and it’s ability always be friendly and crank out crazy good Ethiopian food… on a personal note the tumtumo is my favorite as well as the shiro (must haves)

First time eating Ethiopian food. It will not be my last. The vegan sampler was amazing. The bread used to eat with, even better. Fresh, healthy and obviously tasty, one of the best dining experiences, in recent memory.

I love this restaurant! The food is amazing and we always leave planning our next visit. The vegetarian dishes are so full of flavor and an excellent choice is you are vegetarian or are not (I am not and these options are superb for omnivores such as myself ?). The staff is so friendly and knowledgeable about the different options available. Whenever I am in the area, this is where I want to go for food. I’ve made myself hungry writing this and now I am thinking about my next visit!

Had you not called back barking at me as if I were a child and you in need of a kennel, I would have returned and continued with the purchase. As I mentioned patience is key, but not a virtue that everyone was gifted with.The gift card was already used, as I purchased it for a friend and I was stating that had I known how difficult the parking was I would not have done so. I moved to Stamford about 6 years ago and in that time I've had the pleasure of eating at Teff at least half a dozen times. Every time has been a picture of perfection - excellent food, great service and good prices. I love Ethiopian food and Teff does it up right 10/10 would eat again!

I was recommended this place and so glad I tried it! The food was absolutely delicious. The spices were brought from Ethiopia to flavor the tasty dishes and days are devoted to making the wonderful meals and Ethiopian wine that we thoroughly enjoyed. I can’t end this review without thanking my wonderful host Asmeret who did a phenomenal job explaining the meals, drinks and the culture with my husband and I. Asmeret was passionate about the business and you can tell that their family runs this business with love. I am looking forward to returning to Teff and recommend this place to anyone in search of delicious Ethiopian food like they’ve never had before! I also recommend this place to anyone who loves leaving restaurants with leftovers. The portion sizes are nice and large, the prices were very reasonable and my leftovers were just as amazing as when I had the meal at the restaurant.
