Engine room is a reliably good meal every time. It's not revolutionary or anything but everything is fresh and very tasty. Sometimes it can be somewhat of a long time to get things, but that's forgivable with how busy they usually are.
This is one of my go to places in Mystic. Normally sit at the bar. There are usually three bar tenders working so the service is excellent. Great cocktails at reasonable prices. Super friendly staff and always a good meal.

It's a really nice environment to be in. If you're like me and prefer less crowded restaurants, go for dinner as late as possible. We went at 7pm, and it was the ONLY time I've seen empty seats there. I'm just not a fan of packed places. The food is amazing, and I love looking into the kitchen to see what the cooks are preparing.
