The last time I went to Mel’s the place smelled of sewage and the floors were super sticky. Most tables were too dirty to use. There was one customer in front of us and the service was so slow we left.
I went the other day to Mel's and I won't be back again. The ice cream was good but the place itself is FILTHY. How do they get away with running a restaurant like that and I don't think it has ever had a good cleaning. The seats were sticky with spilled ice cream (yuck), the floors I don't think have ever been mopped. Until I hear they have a cleaning service, I will take my money elsewhere!
We love Mel’s! They support the community and always have specials for the holidays and special occasions. I love that they have nondairy options as well! Our go to is the peanut butter daze sundae 🧡
