I stopped here for dinner after shopping at Bass Pro Shops/Cabelas, it was a good little find. I had some clam chowder and steamed clams, both were very good, they had good beer on tap too. Place had a good blue collar New England fisherman feel to it, great bartender, and its location felt like the kind of place which may be next to the dock the seafood is unloaded at. I’ll be back especially if riding my motorcycle on the CT turnpike as this place also appeared very friendly...
Went to Big Jim's for the first time this year for Taco Tuesday. No surprise that the prices were higher but disappointed that I could only order three tacos at a time and they had to be the same kind.. personally I would prefer to have only two and would love to be able to mix. However, they were absolutely delicious and generous in size. The calamari was fantastic, and my Moscow Mule was on point!

The shrimp scampi was delicious in the past. However today the linguine was not drained properly so I received a tin of watery scampi. Lots of huge shrimp. But not as tasty as I remembered.
