La Fortuna Bar & Restaurant offers incredible food for both in house and take out, with no quality drop off in a to go order. The lunch specials run about $19.95 or $19.99, with healthy and huge portions. Great specials and a great happy hour are available. The food is excellent and delicious, with standout dishes including the beet salad and chicken papperdelle lunch special, steak and peppers, pizza, and the bolognese. The chicken parmesan is more than one person could finish. However, the lasagna was not liked by one person. The chicken francese was good but barely luke warm, and the butternut squash soup was also barely warm and much too thick. The atmosphere and the people are amazing, though it is on the loud side so quieter and intimate settings are not the focus. The staff is the real draw, with Frankie the bartender being an absolute asset. Great service and very reasonably priced. Tea refills are not free, and bills are not split for large groups.
