“Sad to see all the one star reviews for the yummiest little pizza spot in the area. Is the pizza greasy? Yes - not the end of the world to grab a paper towel and dab it off. There aren’t many good options for pizza around here and Riverside is dependable, their pizza is the perfect texture, amount of sauce, and lots of cheese!! Their delivery drivers are always friendly and quick. The only downside in my opinion is the service when you call and order, always very rushed and they slam the phone down as soon as you finish ordering. Other than that - Riverside is top choice for pizza pick up or delivery out here.”

“We didn't have time to have lunch before the Indian Ranch Maverick's Concerts on Saturday so we were starving after the Concert. Our other "go to Restaurant, The Lodge was closed and For Sale so we went to Saloon 6! The packing lot was packed so we thought we would never be able to get in and have lunch, but after a short 15 minute wait were seated. Very friendly Waitresses Fun Atmosphere and awesome food! We both had the Burgers which were delicious as were the french fries. Wish there was a Saloon 6 near Marblehead!”

Very clean establishment with steady flow of customers for eat in and take out. I thought the waitress was crabby. Unnecessary. If I am choosing to spend my hard-earned money, at least be a positive presence when waiting on me. We were still eating and she tried to take away our hot sauces. Perhaps she was having a bad day as I've had her before as a waitress and she was great. Despite her attitude, I highly recommend eating here.”

“There is never a dull moment at the tavern. I’ve been frequenting this place for over 10 years at this point. They have an incredible blues jam on Sundays with the hottest house band in town. It’s been going on for nearly 20 years. A good friend of mine hosts the open mic on Thursday nights, and they have a great format you can play as a solo artist or you can do an open jam. They have a very affordable wing special on Wednesdays. The atmosphere is lively and fun. I’ve made friends with some of the regulars. Some of them have been coming to the same bar for 50 years. The owner Robyn is very friendly and hard-working. Her whole family is invested in the business and I really appreciate that, having worked in the service industry for a long time. What are you waiting for? Go down to the roadhouse!”

In a last-minute Hail Mary, I called The Rose Room Cafe to see if there was ANY chance a few kids could come in for cake, presents, and a little celebration to lift her spirits. They didn’t hesitate—they were incredibly accommodating and let us use their beautiful space on short notice. The team was so warm, flexible, and genuinely kind; they truly went above and beyond to make sure my little girl felt special on her big day. The cozy, welcoming atmosphere was perfect for our small group, and it turned what could have been a sad day into a magical, memorable one. The Rose Room isn’t just a great cafe with amazing coffee, scratch-made treats, and local vibes—they’re a community gem that cares deeply about the people around them. Our coordinator, Brenda, was amazing to work with and incredibly thorough. The food at our wedding was INCREDIBLE and we got so many compliments! They are organized, provide information clearly and timely, and truly go out of their way and above and beyond to ensure their customers are happy. I requested Vanilla Chai cupcakes which were not on their menu and on my goodness, they were INCREDIBLE! 1 because they took the time to respond to my review and secondly they were right and i understand where a small business is coming from, where tobhave a salad on the menu but few people purchasing it wouldn't afford them the opportunity to have a great fresh salad and not lose money.
But service, friendliness, not sure of the name if the waitress but I'd give her 5 stars.”
