This place is great! If you like huge and I mean huge portions this is where to go! It's small and on the weekends be prepared to wait a bit. It's a very old diner with a small addition off the back. The menu is like the portions... lots to choose from. I had a ham western( you can also get a kielbasa western) with potatoes and toast I dare you to finish it!
My hubby discovered this little jewel on a work related trip in 1988. He liked it so much that he brought me back a few years later. We live over 8 hours away from this restaurant. So, we find ourselves back in New England on another trip and we decided to make a detour so that we could revisit Carl's Oxford Diner again. Fantastic place to stop if in the area! I first visited this place back in 1988 and it hasn't changed at all since then. I go here every single time I travel north. The experience is life-changing.
