Much less chaotic than the West Hartford location, and worth the drive even with a slightly less variety of some meats and food items. They have the gas filling station in the lot, and they share a space with the Dollar Store a, liquor store and a Dunkin' Donuts so you can really get most (if not all) your shopping done in one spot.

I stopped by the BJ's in Torrington, because I needed some honey and cheese. This BJ's surprisingly wasn't that busy on two nights before Christmas. It was well stocked, but it took me some time to find everything I was looking for because the layout of this store is a bit different from the one in West Hartford. There was a very kind lady offering samples of corn and apple sauce, she was working at both stations simultaneously. Each time I passed by her she offered it to me again....read full review
