My husband and I love their Spanish options (best huevos rancheros I’ve been able to find outside of New York), but they also have eggs, pancakes, and other “classic” items. And this is just their breakfast menu! Their lunch items are just as delicious. The staff is incredibly friendly, service is fast even on a busy day, we LOVE all of the sauces on every table, it’s always clean, and they add new dishes pretty often to keep their menu fresh. Can’t say enough good things about them!“

“I have lived in NJ my whole life so the bar is high when it comes to bagels and pizza. I was in CT for work and found AM bagels by chance. I saw it had great ratings and figured I'd give it a try. I was pleasantly surprised with how good the bagels are. the texture is perfect. the flavor is awesome. the cream cheese is *chef's kiss*. the customer service is great. the schmear is respected here, though not excessive, with a great cream cheese to bagel ratio. I love the creative and fun flavors of bagels cream cheese and sandwiches, and the classics are also great as well. I think this might be my favorite bagel spot, surpassing my go to fave spots here in NJ.“

The service was very friendly and beyond outstanding. Jerry makes terrific cocktails! Smaller place so it can be a bit noisy when some patrons talk loudly. Our only disappointment was the desert we ordered to go. It was this very small sour cherry tart with hardly any cherries and it was overpriced at $15. Otherwise I highly recommend this Mediterranean restaurant.“

I cannot recommend their food because of the teeny tiny portions. I had a pricy salad that equaled to about two cups of greens & at most a 1/3 of a portobello mushroom cap. I went home & ate since I was starving! Note: I had the salad sans goat cheese. An increased amount of the other two ingredients would have been appreciated!“

“First, to call SOB a hidden gem would be doing it a disservice, per all the five-star reviews! The better term is off the beaten path, but undoubtedly worth a purposeful trip. I am admittedly a bit of a sandwich snob, and Michelle's porchetta special did NOT disappoint. As a matter of fact, she was so genuinely charming and sincere in her description of it, that all three of us ordered the exact same thing, and the full-size grinder at that. This was a BIG sandwich, even by my standards, and the components were all top-notch. Somehow, the meat was still juicy and tender, even sliced thin and griddled on the flat top. The provolone was melted nicely, and the marinated peppers had just enough bite to balance the richness. She gave us a cup of au jus for dipping as well, which was greatly appreciated. Taste and value aside, Michelle may just be the start of the show. Her hospitable kindness and welcoming spirit made the food even better, to the effect that we were already planning our next visit before we even left. “So after running around town looking for a club or a bar to hang at for my out of town family we found this place. It was a cool chill mature crowd. Dj was good I didn't get to try the food that's why the low stars but I hear the food is good. Plenty of space to hang and drink and also dance.“

“CHANGE YOUR PACKAGING

Your beer is good, damn good. Y'know what isn't good? The can it comes in. I was asked by an employee if what I was buying was even beer because the stuff you wrap around your cans is seriously unappealing. I can't imagine it's cheap either. 99% of stickers look better than the wrap on your cans, really, just a sticker would be better.

The meat of this: a fully colored can doesn't make people think beer, it makes people think soda or hard seltzer, case and point the liquor store clerk who literally didn't know if it was beer when I checked out because the packaging is so weird. If the can gets even slightly bent in your hands, like even just a little spring from picking it up, you get this icky feeling of crunching plastic due to the wrap on the can. I'm sure a simple sticker would be cheaper than this considering brewers large and small use those instead. This packaging is terrible. This packaging is literally good for nothing, it lacks shelf appeal, it feels awful, and there's no way it's cheaper than a simple sticker. Even if you kept the same all-black design, it'd still be more recognizable as beer with a sticker instead allowing more of the metal to show near the top and bottom. This packaging is bad and beyond that I can't imagine it isn't an unnecessary expense considering how both large and small breweries label their beer. If you want something more fancy then invest in printing directly onto the cans like bigger breweries (or smaller ones with more successful beers), or if want something less expensive that actually looks and feels decent then switch to stickers, this plastic wrap looks pathetic and feels worse so right now you're kinda picking the worst of both worlds paying more for a worse product.

Why 5 stars? Great beer, I like supporting nearby businesses, and all things considered a gripe about labeling/packaging is minor especially in this case. Don't let it stop you from getting their beer or visiting this brewery, instead buy the beer and visit the brewery but also leave a backhanded 5 star review about how their packaging blows“

The place has a warm, small-town coastal vibe with an amazing view of the boats docked along the harbor, people enjoying fresh seafood, and live music playing softly in the background.

Walking along the wooden boardwalk feels like stepping into a postcard. The area is clean, well-maintained, and has that calming scent of the sea. It’s family-friendly, yet also perfect for a chill solo trip or even a romantic evening stroll. There are little souvenir shops, casual restaurants, and spots where you can just sit, breathe, and watch the boats.

I went around sunset and the lighting over the water was just magical. I highly recommend timing your visit during the golden hour—it completely transforms the place. If you’re into photography, you’ll love it here.

In order to compete for customers in a very competitive market you must be intelligent, creative and tenacious. Leroy has that X- Factor which has kept him in the lead for decades. Everyone I know that craves that Jamaican vibe along with the flavors that go with it always highly recommend ROOTSMAN. Long time residents of Bpt, who have relocated to towns up north, still take the drive to feast on Leroy's Pepper Steak, Oxtail, Jerk chicken, Curry Goat, Curry Chicken etc.
I personally feel that ROOTSMAN is the epitome of how meats should be prepared. Melt-in-your-mouth like hot butter on pancakes. Succulent, juicy, tender and so flavorful you'll wish your portion never ends! I hope my visits to ROOTSMAN never end either!“
