Very good!

My husband and I visit Mohegan Sun 4 to 6 times a year and always look forward to Chinese food at the Sunrise Square. We both grew up in NYC so we really miss good Chinese food and this is the only place we truly enjoy. The food is fresh and plentiful. The General Taos chicken is all white meat. The house special fried rice is full of nice sized shrimp and pork with eggs, peas, scallions, etc. So good. Not the over greasy fried brown stuff you sometimes get when take-outs. The shrimp and pork dumplings are large and delicious. The sauce it comes with is really good, it's tangy and sweet. We're always ask for extra spicy and then request the extra chili oil. Never disappointed. With all the Asian clientele, I would imagine that they'd have to be good. Food court is opened until 2am. Don't forget the sit-down restaurant next door, Fantasia.

I found this place completely by accident as we were just at the casino to go to Krispy Kreme. I was like yes, noodles! (I'm on a bit of a noodle kick). Great menu although I didn't see anything that looked like the ramen dish I wanted to get. I likely wasn't clear because when I checked my receipt it indicated I had ordered chicken lo mein. Oops. Got that fixed and went with the chicken noodle soup which was very close to ramen. The chicken in this soup (which was huge) was amazing. So tender and it fell off the bone. Really gave the soup a great flavor. I loved the decor. The tables with the koi fish in gold were gorgeous. The soup was amazing. Very large portion of it which I was able to share with my mother who definitely did not want anything from the restaurant until she looked at my bowl of soup. More than enough to share. Prices were good and the service is fast.

This has to be the worst Asian restaurant I've been to. I had assumed that because it is staffed by Asians and the clientele is Asian, that it would be good. I ordered the Pho soup, my wife ordered the California roll, and our friend ordered a shrimp sushi. First, the food is served in plastic - dishes, spoons. The basil and lime for my dish came in a plastic beg, where it had evidently been for a week or so. I was unable to squeeze any juice from the lime, so when my friend went up to get some condiments, the staff stonewalled her. The quantity of pho (for the price) was low, and was limited by the bowl. The freshness and flavors were not good. The staff appeared to be confused when my wife ordered the California roll. Maybe the lesson there is not to order Japanese food in a place operated by Chinese. The rice was poorly done, worse than Stop and Shop, and the quantity was small for the price. We go to listen to music at Mohegan. It would be nice if there were some decent places to eat that did not charge and arm and a leg.

The ramen is really unexceptional

All food is pretty unexceptional... Unless "authentic" Chinese food is supposed to be extremely bland or surprisingly salty. EXTREMELY OVERPRICED AS WELL Service is very fast I have to say

Really unexceptional drunken noodles...

ALWAYS delicious. not a typical Chinese restaurant, they have REAL Asian food, like lau mi guay and tripe, but also some fan favorites like sushi genersl tso etc.

Different take on Bao---steamed buns---instead of encasing the filling in dough, like a ravioli, the dough is folded around the filling like a flat bread. I tried the Hong Kong Pork Bao.

I always get the congee with the thousand year egg (I can never finish the serving) + the Shu Mai. Yummy way to end a party night :)
