“We had been looking for a place for lunch or dinner that was local and not a chain. Been driving by it for years and finally checked it out. The decor is a little dated so if classier atmosphere is what you're looking for go elsewhere. If you want well prepared italien food, larger portions, reasonable prices, friendly, efficient waitstaff and in a warm, family familiar setting....you have arrived!“

“We are full-time wedding photographers, and we had the pleasure of photographing a wedding ceremony and reception at Georgina’s on a summer day with a wonderful couple. The space in the back of the restaurant turned out to be larger than expected in person and amazingly well suited for photos both during the wedding itself and after with the couple and their friends and family. We used the ceremony space and the small bridge to make some very cute shots. Moving inside we were able to enjoy a sweet and intimate evening with some fantastic food. Everyone loved it all from what we could see, and the couple was very happy with the wedding and how the photos came out. Our thanks to the considerate and attentive staff, too! “📢📢Go to Square Peg Pizza! 🚨🚨 Outdoor patio, bar, arcade, indoor dining, event space, catering, and DRIVE THRU!!! Happy hour EVERY DAY 2-6 (buy two drinks, get a FREE small pizza 2-5p, and other great deals). This was honestly the BEST pizza I have had in a LOOOOONG time. For reference, my usual favorites are Mondo in Middletown and Modern in New Haven. Square Peg is at that level for me now. We ordered 1. Bianco + bacon, 2. Pepperoni, and 3. Spicy Margarita and I’d rank them in that order. Probably wouldn’t order the margarita again, but the other two…. No doubt in my mind that we’ll be back for these. The bottom crust was thin and floppy, but stable and not soggy. The sauce was light, not chunky or overpowering. Perfectly sliced meat for a good char but still tender. The edge crust was super soft and flavorful, good char, nice bubbles, not chewy or cracker-y. 5/5 couldn’t ask for anything better (except a golden canoli).“

“Took a trip to DiFiore Ravioli shop in Ellington, CT. They make 15 varieties of homemade Ravioli, sauces, oils, amazing desserts, and more. We picked up the TENDERLOIN & BACON ravioli, and the SHRIMP & ROASTED GARLIC ravioli. They were out of the lobster ravioli, but we picked up the homemade Tiramasu. While there we saw they made gourmet sandwiches, which we ordered and ate outside. They were amazing, so big, we could only eat half (pics taken after we started) Great place, staff were fantastic!! To be transparent, I had been waiting around about 30 minutes past when my food was supposed to be ready to get my order, but Brandon was the only person on the staff who had checked in with me and apologized for the mistake, WHILE he was already busy working on his own things. I wasn’t even trying to bust chops, but I was told another 8 minutes and it became another 20 for the pizza, and then my pasta was forgotten when the other staff initially handed me my order. Brandon held it down and was able to get complimentary carrot cake for my girlfriend because of the long wait, which I appreciated. Check in with Brandon, he’s great along with his service, and so is the food.“

“We just had our class reunion at Murphy's. The experience could not have been ANY better! Jack and Charles were incredible, attending to our group and helping us to have an experience that EVERY person raved about. The food was delicious, the venue was beautiful and the service was top notch! I wish that I knew the names of both servers. They were both excellent, cheerful and worked so hard. Bella was incredible. She made sure that no glass was empty and that each person had exactly what they needed. The other server was also extremely atrentive to our guests. Charles went above and beyond helping us to get a slideshow up on the big screen and Jack had great suggestions that made our reunion a HUGE success. My hat is off to the entire staff. This reunion was amazing and you helped to make many happy memories. We are so grateful!
