Fantastic diner with a well earned reputation. I have gone here for many years but I have recently become gluten intolerant. So, my only gripe is that the menu lacks clear labeling as far as which dishes contain gluten and which don't. If the menus could be labeled so that I and others who are gluten intolerant or have celiac disease would have an easier time ordering. First time trying Vernon diner and I guess we had high hopes for the food but were a little disappointed. Our home fries had zero flavor, they almost tasted like they just boiled them then grilled them for some crisp with zero seasoning! The eggs and bacon were good, but that’s something so simple to make! The only star of our breakfast were the French toast those were delicious!
