“Went today. Asked for a chick fil a sandwich with EXTRA pickles - this is what I got?!!“

“The last time we stopped at this Popeye's, they were about to close early because they had run out of food. This time made up for it: while they were out of the chicken sandwich, they still had nuggets and macaroni and cheese. I don't know whose grandmother makes their mac and cheese, but babyyyy!! It is to die for!!“

“I went to Southern Dishes, Seafood, & Desserts in Meriden today. When I say they truly have southern soul food, it’s an understatement. The food was definitely well seasoned, chicken falls off the bone, cooked to perfection and absolutely delicious!“

They make really good sandwiches on sub rolls? with a free can of soda with it for like $7, and that's with basically whatever you want on it. You want turkey, ?, , ?, ?️, ?, mayo, mustard, and pepper, and whatever else you want on it like extra cheese or extra whatever too I'm pretty sure it stays $7 because me and my bf get extra stuff all the time and we don't get charged more.“

“Since I first moved to Southington in 2004, this has been a favorite spot of mine! The cuisine is consistently delicious and expertly prepared! I adore the coleslaw, deviled eggs, and ribs. “First off, the chicken is amazing. I got the three-piece tenders with a fantastic biscuit and a Mexican Coke for $11 and change! It's located in the Durham Mini Mart/Exxon, so you won't really see good signage until you're in the gas station parking lot. I'll definitely be back - best deal around and the chicken was amazing.“

“Warning: Although the manager isn’t friendly and rude the staff does not merit a bad review. Instead I just stopped coming here and I went to the other chicken place.

Sure the $6 meal is back and it’s delicious, it is not worth it if they forget to pack the fries or a side dish. That’s what happened to me and since I was stopping by there daily or every other day I did not care.

The next time I went I asked for Jose who is the one who helped me most of the week. He wasn’t there. Jasmine was working and she knew I was a regular customer. She did not pack my order, so she asked the manager.

When the manager (short lady with black hair) came to me she questioned me as if I was trying to scam Popeyes. I told her Jose had missed putting my fries and told her I was a regular customer. She agreed to let me have the fries I was owed but it came with an attitude and trying to belittle me.

I encourage you to open your box and make sure to double check your order before you leave. No matter how nice Jose and Jasmin are they only hand you the meal.

I have had nothing but great experiences at the red and white chicken place for $1 less.

Parking: Be careful pulling in so you don’t hit the median as you turn into the parking lot. I saw a few cars jump it.“
