I've been wanting to come here and it was all I hoped for. I ordered three tacos. A barbacoa, carne asada and cabeza. Each one was a perfect example of their type. The salsas were a perfect complement. And I was excited to see genuine handmade molcajete in different sizes available, each cured and ready for use.

My husband and I were looking for dinner while we were on S Colony Road, so we decided to take a chance on Taqueria Mexico. I’m so glad that we did! We wanted something quick and easy while still supporting local, and this was perfect. We dined in and the tacos were at our table in under 5 minutes. They brought over homemade sauces too! It has been over 10 years since we last dined at this restaurant and we found little has changed in the interim. The street tacos were savory though the meat this time was a little on the tough side.
