This is truly authentic Thai food (& I’ve been to Thailand multiple times)!
Very quaint place, wonderful staff (P’Mew was very personable!).
I got the Pineapple Fried Rice - exceptionally fresh ingredients (peppers, carrots), excellent flavoring!
I live in Middletown , but will make the drive to Wallingford next time I crave authentic Thai food!

Food was delicious and restaurant was tastefully decorated! Nice location close to downtown with plenty of parking in the front and back. We had Summer rolls, Chicken satay, Moo Ping, Drunken noodle, Pad See Ew, and Jok. There are only a handful of tables. Service was a bit slow maybe because they’re small or were short staffed.
The menu has so many wonderful entrees to try. It was hard narrowing down which curry I would order. I saw neighboring tables have soups and different stir-fry plates. I ordered the red curry with pork. My only complaint would be I wanted more sauce for my rice. It’s not truly a real complaint. I chose to drink a Thai iced tea which was delicious too. I asked for very light ice and had the perfect drink. There were plenty of delicious milk tea options on the menu.

Za-Onn Thai House offers delightful and fresh Thai cuisine, known as the best in the area. The menu includes traditional dishes and some unique ones, such as a custom massaman curry. The restaurant has a friendly and inviting atmosphere, with staff that are helpful and take dietary restrictions seriously. The roti and other dishes are consistently delicious. The dining area is small but quaint with nice decor. It is a great place for a comforting and flavorful meal with large portions. The seafood noodle is a must try and the owner is very nice. It is a go-to place for a nice break in the AC.
