Their “French toast” bagel? It was plain as can be. Whoever is making them needs to do some adjustments. Don’t waste your money

They lost a customer for life. The bagels are great, but the service is god awful. The staff makes you feel like an inconvenience. This morning I decided I would call ahead to minimize my interaction with them. Spent 15 mins trying to call and no one ever answered the phone. Based on previous reviews, I can tell this is an ongoing issue. I won’t waste my time or money here anymore.

The bagels are delicious the service it is horrible the ladies are always rude never answer the phone why do you have a drive-thru if you're never going to answer the damn phone I go in first and three people get their orders before me how is that possible she always puts in my order late she always puts in my order late!!! If you don't mind rude service being ignored getting attitude when you asked for the receipt then go here

It was the worst roll I have ever had for $9 and change for a turkey lettuce and cheese with mayo. I would have saved money and had a better sandwich if I had gone to the Spanish bodega. The bread had a stale flavor. Ami Bagels needs to improve. I know you specialize in bagels, but it's beyond me how they could have gotten a classic sandwich on a roll wrong. The lettuce was outdated, and neither of the sandwiches had the mayonnaise that was requested. It seemed like they used one mayonnaise packet for the entire roll.

This is not a place I would sit down at and have my sandwich or bagel. Plenty of people do. It is very plain . That is why the three stars it's not a 3 star eat in place . Their bagels are the best around in the area. This includes all towns bordering Waterbury. That is saying something. I live out of town and come here to get the best bagels I have been coming here even to to there first location in the colonial plaza in Waterbury.

The Thomaston Ave location is really very poor compared to this one. I was expecting the same atmosphere in both places. No!
How can 2 places be more different. Thomaston Ave needs to smile maybe? Try being polite? Or try to be like East Main. Friendly....

This is only my third time going. First 2 times very pleasant for the most part, easy-going, and food was fresh. This morning I go and order an iced coffee because it’s literally advertised. The day before, the brunette employee told me they didn’t make it. The before that, I received one no problem and mentioned it to her where she made it. Today, the blonde employee told me she had to CHECK for ice (never heard back) then the brunette employee I mentioned it to her again prior to checking out and she told me there was NO ice. An hour later my sister went and got an ice coffee no problem :)

Every time I go to this place they get my order wrong. The bagels are delicious so I kept forgiving them but I just went to get bagels for the week to avoid having to go, and instead of getting a simple order of bagels with cream cheese on the side I not have multiple bagels with cream cheese on them. Do I eat them all to avoid going to waste? Even if I take the cream cheese off the bagel is gonna go bad beyond tomorrow. Terrible service. Delicious food
