Ami's has some if the most delicious bagels in Connecticut! Every flavor, especially the Everything and egg bagels, are spot on. Their breakfast sandwiches are fabulous as they use the freshest of ingredients and pile on the bacon! The most incredible sandwich, however, is the cream cheese and lox on a bagel. I grew up in NYC and have never seen so much lox piled on! We stop by every time we pass it always buying a few more than we need to share or freeze. Ami's is our "go to" place for bagels!

Breakfast bagels are always good. Me and my family have been going here for years. They are really busy on the weekend so if you are going Saturday or Sunday try and make it before 10am or you will have a limited selection of bagels. The inside looks a bit run down but it's a local favorite spotWheelchair accessibility: It's one level right from the parking lot. You just have to make it over the 1.5 Inch curb and the door jam.
2024 Review - while the bagels still taste good...things have definitely changed. The bagels are smaller and not the same. For example - the everything bagels barely have any everything on them. I understand inflation, but prices went up while size and quality went down. Also the staff is different - rude - not sure if new owners? The absolute BEST bagels there is! Honestly, I almost recommend NOT having one because no other bagel will ever be the same. Big, fluffy yet crispy, and so many different flavors.

The bagels really are everything they're made out to be, but I went here twice and multiple members of the staff were SO rude that I can't go back, because the stress isn't worth the bagel. As I type this, I am sitting next to my husband's breakfast and contemplating where I'm going to go myself for breakfast, since they waited ten full minutes to tell me they couldn't give me what I ordered. One lady was cursing behind the counter to herself, smacking people's orders on the counter, even the other customers seem rude... Idk, it's just too much for takeout breakfast.

The bagels themselves are DELICIOUS however the food quality is garbage I've gone many times and order a bacon egg and cheese and the bacon is so undercooked and cooked ahead of time even a day in advance you can taste when bacon is not fresh eggs were under as well so this time I order a simple bagel toasted with butter and cream cheese I opened it immediately to eat omw to work n the bagel was cold toasted, but cold some how to only a minute for me to get my bagel after ordering the butter wasn't even melted. Always hoping for the best and disappointed each time

Cold bagels terrible service. No hygiene at all. They use the same gloves to take the money and then do the bagels with the same gloves. ? They also make you wait too long for the bagels. People who ordered after me received their bagels before me. They need new people who can do the job right.
