El Molcajete Bakery & Deli

Now this is Mexican food, excellent service, very nice gentleman, but I got a chicken mushroom onion quesadilla, it’s the best I’ve ever had the whole well, absolutely amazing. This is a hidden gem this place, I’ll be back.

This place actually has decent food but they lack in customer service and availability. The wife is rude, and when you go there they seem like they never have the food you are asking for. 4 times I have called and they say they are open but the wife picks up and tells me they are closed. I ask for dishes that are on the menu and they never have it, it's becoming a running joke at this point.

They only sell you tacos two by two of the same kind of meat, you can't mix them, which is the most stupid thing I've heard in a restaurant. They won't sell you only one taco, and they're so expensive for such a low quality, and not authentic Mexican flavor.

The owner is rude. I order food and the forgot my order I have to wait 35 minutes and see 3 tablets coming and be serve first that me and they eat and leave before my food was ready...

The owner was so kind and made us churros fresh and they are so crispy and delicious. It's a nice cozy break from the chaos of waterbury. Possibly my new favorite Mexican bakery, but I'll have to try more and see. The prices are good and I will definitely be coming back

Bought a rosca with filling and it was soon good as well best rosca!!!!

Excellent little hole in the wall, we each had a torta, it was like an entire brunch on a sandwich, incredibly filling. The staff was really nice and friendly. It has a charming homemade interior. It’s quickly become one of our go to places in Waterbury.

huge portions of meat but dry and flavorless. Water down salsas and lot of hair in food had to return to store for refund.

Got the birria and slow cooked beef tacos both were really good. The large jamaican aguas frescas was HUGE and really good too. Ingredients taste fresh especially the slow cooked beef you can tell it’s not processed meat definitely coming back
