Frankie's is a Gem. Was immediately greeted by Tom, took my order. Everything is made fresh to order. The menu has many items to choose. We gut burgers with cheese sauce and hot dog. When my order was ready Tom delivered to table. The decor inside was quite interesting. Many older clocks. Atmosphere was relaxed. I've been there numerous times in the past and have always had a great experience. TY Tom for your hospitality.

New discovery for us and definitely a go to if on the way up i84. Old school hot dogs with a plethora of toppings. Nothing g like it in NYC. Service is friendly and patient as we read thru all the options. Place is homey and has lots of relics, pics and character. Great place.

I’m really confused,, I requested a hotdog with the works but was asked“what’s the works?” really Frankies? Then was told all the works had to be put in cups not on the hotdog for sanitary reasons BUT my husband ordered a chili cheese dog with a cheeseburger with lettuce, tomato, and mayo yet the condiments came on his meal, not in cups,, Make it make sense!!!

Frankie's is practically a local culinary institution! A staple for classic American fast food in Waterbury, no frills and no fuss! Consistently good food and good service. This particular location on Reidville Drive is a favorite! It's decorated floor to ceiling with antiques and hot dog memorabilia. The convenient addition of a drive-up area in the parking lot adds to the appeal, making it a go-to lunch spot for me!

For people that don't want to cook or can't. Maybe this is for you. Shrimp seems to be pre frozen along with other things. But it's ok.

Stopped on the way back home from CT to NY easy off and on exit to I84. Pulled into the lot with a boat in tow plenty of room to park. Walked in ordered a Philly Cheese steak and fries. Plenty of options on what you want on the sandwich. Looking at the wall of hot dog possibilities I will get a couple of dogs next time through. The food was hot off the grill my only disappointment was no salt on the fries. They are best seasoned fresh out of the oil with some salt but they were bland. Other than that great place with too many choices possibilities to mention.

Walked in and placed and order for seafood combo platter and an order of a fried veggie combo. Spent $30 and left a $1 tip also. Was not aware that this location does not include scallops in the platter, which they should for the price! My veggie combo was not very good also. Had over done veggies and not enough of an assortment for the price. Also asked for tarter sauce and cocktail sauce, that was assured by staff that it was inside the platter, but was NOT when I got home and opened it there was none! I’m definitely thinking twice about going back to this location! Should of just went to Watertown Ave location like I normally do.

I've been going here since I was a kid and Frankie's never disappoints. Although, I'll go here whenever I'm craving a cheeseburger or hotdog, I LOVE coming here for a lobster roll in the summer. For sides I'd get curly fries, fried vegetables, or cheese cubes. Even though Frankie's food is great at all locations, this specific location is my favorite because of the community feel! The memorabilia and pictures really take me back to growing up in Waterbury. There aren't many places like this anymore. Service is always quick with friendly staff. They also cater and it's always a hit!

For the type of historic, generationonally-owned/operated with all the souvenir-type decor, it is a great little place! Our first time going although my husband has eaten their food from having it as take-out by his coworker and never actually going himself in person, so that's a great recommendation for the delicious food! Lots of things to look at. We live an hour away and we're in the area for something else and lunchtime rolled around. Glad we went there!Parking: It was in a strip mall by Aldi so there was plenty of parking.Wheelchair accessibility: If you can get into Aldi next door with a wheelchair you should be able to get through the door here at Frankie's . Although as I don'tike use one I can't say for sure. I don't think there was a step up to get into the restaurant. Safer to call and ask.

I usually don't ever complain at any of the frankies locations but this one time I didn't have a good experience. I ordered the seafood platter and the fish was horrible soaked in grease, shrimp overcooked and hard clams were ok and they don't sell scallops at this location which is normally included in the seafood platter. I probably will come back but will definitely not order this again. This picture was after I ate all the clams .

What a great place! The employees are so friendly and helpful. I had the chicken tenders and side salad and I am so glad I got the salad. The salad was huge and fresh. Their kids meals are great as well. They even have a drive up option in the parking lot. Nice inside and clean. Super glad we stopped by!
