First time ever going into J’Stax.I felt instantly welcomed.The aroma of flavors was amazing. Food was fresh from the kitchen as I was ordering my food. The lady who served me was very patient and kind, so were the customers. They helped me out ordering since I wasn’t 100% sure of what I wanted everything looked amazing. Today was my first time eating here and I have to say, it brought me back to the days I would walk down Nostrand Ave and get a plate from the Ras. My son had the jerk chicken and I had the oxtail. It’s nice to have the good island food so close to home again. And it’s nice that my son can enjoy the foods of his culture so close. The only word he said when eating was Mmmmmmmm :)
