I had a terrible experience here. I walked in with my service animal and instead of being treated with respect, I was asked to leave. Even after I explained that it was a service animal, the manager refused to listen and told me to get off the premises.
No customer should ever be treated this way. What happened was not only embarrassing but also completely unprofessional. I will not be returning, and I hope the owners take steps to train their staff so no one else has to go through this.

The food is always good here. You can tell the staff take great care in their food. The place is always busy. Every time I go there's always a good amount of people buying food and for good reason. Fresh food is always being put in place after a certain amount of time, there's a great amount of choices and the best part is you get what you pay for. There are some Spanish places that'll give you a whole container of rice, the smallest portion of protein and charge $30. It's a bit pricey here but they're very generous with their portions and the food is very good so the price is acceptable.

Very good authentic Puerto Rican-Dominican food. My order of bistec enceballado was over filling! Side dishes of platanos maduros were perfectly cooked. The mofungo enjoyed by my companions was served with some flair, mixed with accent greens and some extra touches. The service was very attentive even though the take out line shared by my server and others. The non-alcoholic PinaColadas were also nicely served with a slice of pineapple and mixed just right with crushed ice just enough to get a nice slight ice headache. The restaurant has been remodeled well with AC, paintings and lots of well done touches. I would have preferred a quieter atmosphere but that was the one area that was lacking a little. Will definitely recommend for future dining out. Out of all the authentic Spanish food areas to dine in this is Waterbury's best for sure.

Place it's good but in the other hand very expensive I don't know if I am over judging. I asked the girl for a plate of pasta with shrimp she said $26 a plate and then If I want shrimp she said it was more , and a regular plate of food they always saying that depending on meat that's price I bought a plate of pork chops with rice and beans and she filled it most with rice. Almost $20 dollars I don't know I may be the one wrong who knows.

A couple of years ago, this place used to be good now it's lacking, and food is not as good as it used to be, and I'll dine in, and I saw two mices. I told one of the staff about it, but she acted like it was normal. Definitely not coming back to this nasty place.
